For the morning and evening doses, 40 prescription will be consumed.
The other preparation method is osmo-prep. The night before the colonoscopy, prepare the mixture by mixing 4 prescription into eight ounces of water. The total number of doses is 5 for a total 20 tablet-consumption. Then on the morning of the test, the patient should have another 4 drug to eight ounces water in 3 doses for a total consumption of 12 drug. Total pills consumed for the osmo-prep is 32; total medicine for visico is 40.
