So, you've just come home from the doctor's office where you heard those dreaded words we all fear, "You've got cancer"! Now what? Where do you go from here? What choices do you have? Chemo? Surgery? Radiation? What do you do when you have been diagnosed with cancer? Where do you turn for help? There are many questions going through your mind. But you can gently beat cancer with alternative methods that are not invasive or harmful to you. Operations are dangerous, it's been said said that once the surgeons open you up, the cancer spreads. There does seem to be some truth to that. Chemo? It makes you feel really sick and depending on the type you take, it makes your hair fall out and it only seems to work for certain types of cancer. Who wants to lose their hair? Especially if you are a young woman with a beautiful head of hair, even a man probably doesn't want to lose his hair. Chemo is putting poison in your body. Have you ever seen someone after they have sat through several hours of having a needle in their arm with that poison going through their system? It's not pretty! Days of vomiting, tiredness, no energy, lack of appetite. Sometimes the treatments are worse than the disease! Just hearing the word cancer causes a great deal of fear in people. Cancer is a disease that affects everyone, not just the person who has been diagnosed with it. It is a family disease. Once you hear the diagnosis, whether you are the one with the disease or a family member or friend of the person with the cancer, that is pretty much the only thing on your mind. Can you win the battle against such a terrible illness, are you going to die? If you die, what becomes of your loved ones, your husband, your wife, your partner, your children? Everyone is affected by it. Are they strong enough to face life without you? Are you strong enough to face death? Are you strong enough to face life living with cancer? I want to let you know there is hope! Cancer doesn't have to be the end and you don't have to subject yourself to painful treatments that steal the life from your body!
