Fact is, you can grow your mane long and it is possible to do so with the tips I will now share with you.
The first step is to take care of your body and mind. A healthy body usually means healthy tresses. So to make your mane healthy do the following:
-Consume at lest 30 grams of protein in addition to your regular diet. Your mane is made of keratin which is protein, so the more protein in your diet, the faster hair will grow.
- Trim your mane every 4-6 weeks. If you do not have split ends or frizzy hair then you can cut less than half an inch. If on the other hand it is very damaged you might need to cut off some more. Do not avoid trims as avoiding trims will usually prevent the growth of a longer mane.
-Avoid combing your hair when wet as it causes damage. Use a wide toothed comb when combing hair as it prevents damage and can stimulate new hair growth.
- Use a loose hairstyle like braids or tying your mane in a ponytail. Such hairstyles will allow your mane to grow faster,
- Get rid of split ends! And you do this by not using flat irons, curling irons and blow dryers etc. every day.

- Avoid shampoos that contain chemicals and especially avoid conditioners. If you do choose to use them apply them on your hair and not scalp. Shampoos contain chemicals that poison the scalp.
