Bad Habits That Lead To Shrink Breast Size

Breast function and is not influenced by size, but rather in its ability to produce milk. But it is undeniable that the large size was much idolized, along with the increasing average breast size of about 2-fold in the last 50 years. For those whose size is already large, would not have to bother because they live thinking about how to take care not to loose and seemed to shrink rapidly.

1. Too much coffee
A Swedish study proves that the size of the breasts tend to shrink when women consume more than 3 cups of coffee / day. The study also revealed that some women have a certain gene that makes fat tissue shrunk from too much coffee.
2. Too limiting fat consumption
Fat is the composition of breast tissue that could be considered the most dominant. A diet that is too limiting consumption of fats and oils are not only upset the balance of nutrients, but also will affect the shape and size. During the growth period, it takes as long as fat intake is not excessive. Source of vegetable fat for example the soy and nuts, while animal fats can be obtained from fish and meat.
3. Rarely eat meat
Other nutrients needed to maintain their shape and size are the collagen fibers. These fibers are also preparing the skin and keep it from loosening due to rapid aging and damaged skin cells. Claws and chicken wings are a major source of collagen, although other types of meat also contain lots of fiber. Collagen function should also be supported with adequate vitamin intake, especially of vegetables and fruits.
4. Lack of drinking
About 80 percent of the human body is composed of a liquid, so that some tissue will shrink in size if the water content in the body decreases. One part of the body that are affected are the breasts that do not have too much muscle tissue.
5. Drinking too much alcohol
Alcohol consumption does not directly affect the size of the breast, even in a certain dose of antioxidants can actually protect the network from the effects of aging. But on the contrary, numerous studies have shown that excessive alcohol consumption can also lead to breast cancer.

Some Factors That Cause Breast Sagging

Women's breasts will sag at a certain age. This is reasonable because the milk glands shrink, so there is space in the skin covering the breast. Breast engorgement can also be caused by a drastic change in the body, so that the fat in the breast is reduced. While the condition was not accompanied by a decrease in skin covering the breast.
Cause that makes the most easy to sagging breasts and not beautiful, because women are less aware of the importance of breast care, such as: many women do not know what kind of bra is good for the beauty of the breast.

1. Childbirth and breastfeeding. Breast size is growing along with gestational age. Breast enlargement create mass increases. As a result, the stronger the pull down.
2. Too large and shaken. Similar to the case of nursing mothers. Breast mass affects the gravitational pull. The greater the mass, the greater the gravitational force, especially if the breast is always shaken, especially in athletes.
3. There is no buffer. Familiarize yourself with no bra will cause the slack, especially when relatively large breast size.
4. Bad habits. Sleep on can make sagging breasts. This can be explained by the theory of gravity. On the side sleeping, there is no supporting breast at all, except by a bra. In contrast to sleep on their backs, because the breasts are supported by the body.
5. Diseases. Diseases such as TB (tuberculosis) or breast cancer can result in a small, loose, or fall. This is because the malignant cells and the virus that damages the body's organs.
6. Malnutrition. Although the consumption of nutritious food is more useful to tighten the skin, it is very important factor. Diseases such as tuberculosis or cancer may arise from lack of nutrition. Foods such as cabbage, soybeans, soy milk, and garlic is great for preventing breast cancer.
7. Harsh treatment. Every inch of our bodies should be treated lightly, especially breast. Harsh treatment such as wringing too strong, so determining the beauty of the breast. Also if we use a bra that makes breasts pressed, squeezed, and others.
8. Errors wearing a bra. bra is too small, too tight, or not made with good ingredients, can cause the breasts are not healthy. As a result, breasts become loose and fall.

So Beautiful And Firm Breasts

Beautiful breasts is not only physical beauty alone, but can inject confidence to the owner. However, in the course of age and breast-feeding, sagging breasts often complain about the women.
To overcome this, the following tricks to stay beautiful breasts and not get loose :
To do all day

- Standing tall and straight.
- Wear a comfortable bra, not tight, do not make the shortness of breath, and chest compressions.
- Cool or cold water bath for firmer breasts. The other way, put the ice that has been wrapped in cloth on the chest.
- Wear a sports bra when you exercise.
- Make regular breast scrub to stimulate circulation and cell renewal.
- Sleep on your back so as not to compress the chest at night.
Ban
- Sports violence (aerobics, martial arts, some sports a rugged and highly disciplined) and all too dynamic movements that may damage the breast tissue.
- Exposure to sun exposure without sunscreen.
- Heavy lifting or wearing clothes too tight.
- Breast massage is too hard. Recommended, massage your breast with a gentle circular motion and use lotion.
- Cross your arms across his chest.
- Take a hot bath for too long. - Changes in body weight dramatically.
- Eating less protein.
Do this on a regular basis
- Stretch your shoulders to the back to restore breast firmness and avoid breast sagging.
- Align the body.
- Put your back properly.
- Stretch your arms above your head.
- Swim with the backstroke, avoid swimming in butterfly style

Fibrocystic breast disease, recent research has offered

Fibrocystic breast disease is common and usually benign condition. Symptoms include swollen, tender breasts, and/or one or more lumps. Frequently, symptoms worsen just before a woman's menstrual cycle, subsiding near the end. For the majority of women these symptoms are a temporary discomfort; however some women experience severe pain.

Fibrocystic breast disease, for many women, is very treatable and preventable. For years, doctors have recommended that women avoid caffeine, high fat diets and so on, and even to take drugs with strong side effects. In some cases this helps, in others it doesn't. However, recent research has offered new hope because it has shown a strong connection between the wearing of bras and benign fibrocystic lumps, cysts and pain. For example, Dr. Gregory Heigh of Florida has found that over 90% of women with fibrocystic changes find improvement when they stop wearing their brassieres.

The addition of B vitamin supplementation to the diet of women suffering from PMS, heavy menstrual bleeding, and fibrocystic breast disease helped to decrease the severity of their symptoms. Studies conducted at UCLA Medical School during the 1980s found that taking a specific B vitamin, pyridoxine B6, helped to relieve symptoms of menstrual cramps and PMS. The cause of fibrocystic breast change is not known, but the symptoms and signs are linked to a woman's hormone patterns. Each month, the breasts respond to the cyclic peaks and troughs of estrogen and progesterone. As hormone levels rise just before and during menstruation, mammary blood vessels swell, ducts and alveoli expand, and cell growth proliferates. Breast tissue retains fluid and grows larger. After menstruation, these processes reverse.

Fibrocystic breasts are characterized by lumpiness and usually discomfort in one or both breasts. The condition is very common and benign, meaning that fibrocystic breasts are not malignant (cancerous). Fibrocystic breast disease (FBD), now referred to as fibrocystic changes or fibrocystic breast condition, is the most common cause of "lumpy breasts" in women and affects more than 60% of women. The condition primarily affects women between the ages of 30 and 50 and tends to become less of a problem after menopause.

The cause is not completely understood, but the changes are believed to be associated with ovarian hormones since the condition usually subsides with menopause , and may vary in consistency during the menstrual cycle. The incidence of it is estimated to be over 60% of all women. It is common in women between the ages of 30 and 50, and rare in postmenopausal women. The incidence is lower in women taking birth control pills. The risk factors may include family history and diet (such as excessive dietary fat , and caffeine intake), although these are controversial.

The effectiveness of Vitamin E, Vitamin B-6, and herbal preparations, such as evening primrose oil are somewhat controversial. Discuss their use with your health care provider. Oral contraceptives may be prescribed because they often decrease the symptoms. A synthetic androgen may be prescribed by a doctor in severe cases, when the potential benefit is thought to outweigh the potential adverse effects.

During each menstrual cycle, normal hormonal stimulation causes the breasts' milk glands and ducts to enlarge, and in turn, the breasts may retain water. Before or during menstruation, the breasts may feel swollen, painful, tender, or lumpy. The severity of these symptoms varies significantly from woman to woman. Some women only experience mild breast swelling during menstruation, while others experience constant breast tenderness.

Fibrocystic breasts and therapeutic doses of vitamin E

Fibrocystic breast condition is a common, non-cancerous condition that affects more than 50% of women at some point in their lives. The most common signs of fibrocystic breasts include lumpiness, tenderness, cysts (packets of fluid), areas of thickening, fibrosis (scar-like connective tissue), and breast pain. Having fibrocystic breasts, in and of itself, is not a risk factor for breast cancer. However, fibrocystic breast condition can sometimes make it more difficult to detect a hidden breast cancer with standard examination and imaging techniques.

Fibrocystic changes occur during ovulation and just before menstruation. During these times, hormone level changes often cause the breast cells to retain fluid and develop into nodules or cysts (sacs filled with fluid), which feel like a lump when touched. The nodules or cysts can spread throughout the breast, may be located in one general area or simply appear as one or more large cysts. If the lump is not filled with fluid, it is called a fibro adenoma.

Causes

The cause is not completely understood, but the changes are believed to be associated with ovarian hormones since the condition usually subsides with menopause, and may vary in consistency during the menstrual cycle. Many hormones aside from estrogen and progesterone also play an important role in causing fibrocystic breasts. Prolactin, growth factor, insulin, and thyroid hormone are some of the other major hormones that are produced outside of the breast tissue, yet act in important ways on the breast. In addition, the breast itself produces hormonal products from its glandular and fat cells. Signals that are released from these hormonal products are sent to neighboring breast cells.
The incidence of it is estimated to be over 60% of all women. It is common in women between the ages of 30 and 50, and rare in postmenopausal women. The incidence is lower in women taking birth control pills. The risk factors may include family history and diet (such as excessive dietary fat, and caffeine intake), although these are controversial.

Symptoms

Pain and lumps in the breast may be breast cancer or infections. They may spread to the armpit. Lumps in the armpit may also occur with metastatic cancer, lymphoma or Hodgkin's disease. Breast pain may also occur with fibrocystic disease and pregnancy.
Symptoms can be on one or both sides, and can reach up to and under the armpit. Many women first notice fibrocystic breast changes in their 30s. At this age, your hormone levels start to vary more than before.
Begin in the underarm area. Slowly move your fingers down until they are below your breast. Move your fingers closer toward your nipple and go slowly back up, using the same motion. Use this up-and-down pattern all the way across your breast.

Treatment

There's no specific treatment for fibrocystic breast changes. Some simple measures, such as wearing a supportive bra with the correct fit, may provide relief from the pain and discomfort associated with fibrocystic breast changes. Reducing or limiting caffeine in your diet also may help. Signs and symptoms of fibrocystic breast changes often go away completely after menopause.

Therapeutic doses of vitamin E are sometimes advised by a medical provider in an effort to control severe symptoms of breast pain and engorgement associated with fibrocystic breast condition. Because vitamin E is a fat-soluble vitamin which can be toxic in high doses, this therapy should be used only under the supervision of a medical provider.

HER2 breast cancer, tend to be aggressive kinds of cancer

HER2-positive cancer of the breast is really a cancer of the breast that tests positive for any protein known as human skin growth factor receptor 2 (HER2), which encourages the development of cancer cells. Within 1 of each and every 5 breast cancer, the cells of cancer make an excessive amount of HER2 because of a gene mutation. This gene mutation and also the elevated amounts of HER2 it causes can happen in various kinds of cancer- not just cancer of the breast.

HER2-positive breast cancer tend to be aggressive kinds of cancer of the breast. They are also less attentive to hormone treatment. However, remedies that particularly target HER2 work well.

Scientists have found some proteins within the bloodstream involved in a number of systems associated with cancer development. The findings, by co-authors Christopher Kemp, Ph.D., and Samir Hanash, M.D., .D., people of Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center's Human Biology and Public Health Sciences divisions, correspondingly, are released online in front of the August. 1 print problem of Cancer Research.

Studying a mouse type of HER2-positive cancer of the breast (cancer that tests positive for any protein known as human skin growth factor receptor 2) at various stages of tumor development and remission, the scientists discovered that even in the very earliest stages the incipient tumor cells communicate to normalcy tissue from the host by delivering out signals and prospecting cells, as the host tissue consequently react to and amplify the signals."It really is a 'systems biology' study of cancer, for the reason that we concurrently examined many genes and proteins with time- not only within the tumor however in bloodstream and host tissue." Kemp stated.

"The entire surprising factor we found was their education that the host responds to cancer early throughout disease progression, and also the extent of this response. While a mouse ?¡ìC or most probably an individual ?¡ìC with early-stage cancer can happen normal, our study implies that you will find many changes occurring lengthy prior to the disease could be detected scientifically. This provides us hope that people should have the ability to identify individuals changes and employ them as early recognition tools using the ultimate goal more effective intervention.

Stereotactic breast biopsy, the guided indications

Biopsy literally means to see the life inside, indicating that biopsy procedure includes taking out the tissues or cells from the suspicious body part or organ and examine it to check for lurking diseases. The tissue samples are taken to the laboratory for microscopic examination and the reports speak of whether the cells have the dangerous disease or whether there is a presence of tumors and whether it is malignant or benign.

Symptoms like itching, abnormal size or shape or abnormal discharge from the nipple of the breast makes it eligible for a biopsy and this procedure is known as the breast biopsy procedure. A sample of the breast tissue is taken to the lab for microscopic examination to determine whether it is cancerous or non-cancerous, and in case it is cancerous, whether it is malignant (which spreads in other parts and organs of the body) or benign (does not spread to other parts of the body).

The abnormality of breast can be detected by self-test physical examination, ultrasound or mammography or other breast imaging methods. The biopsy method followed by the Pathological (Microscopic) examination of breast tissue is the only definite way to determine the Cancer Pathology. It is estimated that over 48 million mammograms are performed each year and that less than one million of them (less than 5%) are recalled to undergo a breast biopsy.

The biopsy to take out the tissue samples has various ways of doing it. The various procedures are X-ray guided biopsy, fine needle aspiration cytology biopsy, large core biopsy, vacuum-assisted biopsy or core needle biopsy. All these different techniques are used for the same purpose – removing the sample breast tissues for examination. But there are such different techniques for lesser pain and according to different body types.

Among all these different methods of breast biopsy, according to healthcare experts, the X-ray guided biopsy is a recently developed method and it is also known as the stereotactic biopsy. It actually involves a computerized mammography machine that uses intersecting coordinates to indicate the location of change in tissues. A mammogram or other breast imaging study shows something suspicious that cannot be seen or felt on physical examination or when the breast tissue structure is distorted by suspicious cluster of calcium deposits, there is a need for this kind of stereotactic biopsy.

Such biopsies are not harmful and very rarely do any kind of side effects occur. But if there is an abnormal fluid discharge from nipple or the sutures are coming off or there is severe pain, immediate medical attention should be called. One should take care that no strenuous activity should be done within the 24 hours of the biopsy.

Painful lump in breast, a different breast problems

Women experience changes in their breasts as they age. Along with this come breast problems such as breast pain, tenderness, nipple inversions, breast lumps and breast discharge. These issues are common in women and may not necessarily be a sign of something serious like breast cancer. During puberty, girls develop breasts starting off as tender bumps under the nipple. They may fear these lumps to be of concern, but it a part of the breast development.

Different breast problems are dealt with differently depending on the change and problem caused. We will look at the different problems in details as below:

1. Breast Lumps: Breast lumps arise when there is a growth of a tissue in the breast region. This swelling or thickening may be benign or cancerous. The most common lumps are fibroadenoma and cysts. These can form in the breast due to various reasons like infection, inflammation, papilloma, fibrocystic disease, periductal or due to tumors. Lumps are often caused by hormonal changes in the body and can occur before menstrual periods. It normally goes away after the period has ended. If you are above 30 years, and the lump does not go away, you will need a mammogram done to find the cause of the lump. Needle aspiration is one of the ways to withdraw fluid from the lump if it is filled with fluid but if it is a solid lump, one may need to have a biopsy.

2. Breast Pain: Breast pain could be just due to hormonal changes especially during menstrual periods. These changes in the levels could result in pain and is not a serious problem. The other kind of pain which is not related to the menstrual cycle can occur in only one breast or only one specific area of the breast. The cause of this could be some injury, strain or other organ problems. In some cases the reason could be breast cancer. There are medications available in the market to get relief from such pains. Another simple way is to wear a well fitted bra or a sport bra and avoid wearing bras that are too tight and uncomfortable.

3. Breast Discharge: Discharge from the breast is common if one is pregnant or breast feeding. Some women may experience yellowish, brownish or greenish discharge when the nipples are squeezed which is due to other reasons. A spontaneous breast discharge may be a matter of concern and needs to be diagnosed by conducting a mammogram, ductogram or ultrasound. Certain medications, over stimulation and widening of the milk ducts can also cause breast discharge in a woman.

If you are experiencing any of the above breast problems such as breast pain, breast discharge and breast lumps, it is advisable to visit a doctor and get a checkup done. It may not be an emergency or a serious issue, but delaying the diagnosis may lead to complications ahead. But if the breast problems are due to breast cancer, it is best if it is detected as early as possible so that it can be treated successfully. The two ways to detect it are by doing a breast examination and by conducting a mammogram.

Breast reduction recovery, surgical ways to perform a breast reduction

Breast Reduction is a surgical procedure to reduce the size of very large breasts. Very large breasts, or macromastia, may cause neck, back, and shoulder pain. Reducing the volume yet enhancing the appearance of your breasts is possible with surgery. Recovery after surgery is surprisingly short and not too painful.

Breast Reduction surgery is typically done on an out-patient basis. The procedure takes about 2-4 hours, depending on your individual case and amount of surgery required. Your recovery depends on the amount of breast tissue that needs to be removed, the amount of tightening performed, and the actual procedure being done, as well as your individual pain tolerance.

The two main surgical ways to perform a breast reduction include an "upside down T incision" (inferior pedicle breast reduction), and a "lollipop" incision (vertical limb or vertical mastopexy breast reduction). The type of surgical approach and incision depends on your breasts, the amount of breast reduction needed, and the surgeon's preference. There is an increased preference for the "lollipop" incision over the past several years, since it has a slightly less noticeable scar length. The recovery after breast reduction takes several weeks to months. Most of the healing occurs and swelling disappears within the first month or two after your operation, but it takes a total of 6-12 months for all of the healing to complete. It will also take several months for your breasts to "drop" and look more natural, as opposed to the swollen appearance they have right after surgery. Every patient is different, and communicating closely with your plastic surgeon is the best way to have realistic expectations about recovery after your breast reduction.

Your breasts will be swollen and possibly bruised right after surgery. Compression in a surgical bra, icing, rest, and elevation of your chest will all help to lower the amount of swelling and pain you have right after surgery.

Using a pain pump right after surgery will also decrease your pain. Pain medicine can be delivered directly into you breast tissue, which gives you a large amount of pain relief directly to the areas of surgery. This usually translates into taking less pain medication after surgery. Patients can start using non prescription strength anti-inflammatories several days after surgery. Everyone has a different pain tolerance, so your recovery after surgery may differ.

Generally, patients in my practice return to office work within one week after surgery. Light exercise is possible right after surgery. However, wait to do any vigorous exercise until 2-4 weeks after your breast reduction surgery. This is because you need to wait for the skin incisions to fully heal.

Patients will only need antibiotics for several days after surgery to prevent infection. It is not common to need antibiotics for greater than 5 days after a breast reduction surgery.

You should be are placed in a surgical compression bra right after your breast reduction procedure. You wear this type of bra or a sports bra, for several weeks after surgery to allow the swelling to reduce, as well as to maintain an overall aesthetic shape. Your plastic surgeon will go over with you when it is safe to resume wearing a regular bra.

Breast Lift Scars, Lift Sagging Breasts

No matter who you are, you can not avoid sagging breasts sometime throughout your life. Since this is true, the procedure, which is known as a breast lift, has become extremely popular. The year 2010 saw 121,377 breast lift procedures within America by surgeons that are board qualified. This information was given by the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.

There has been one drawback noted by many women. This drawback that has been noticed is that with a traditional breast lift, there is significant scarring left by the procedure. To reduce the amount of scarring experienced by women, scarless breast lifts came into being.

There are different things that can cause sagging breasts. The normal aging process is the usual reason that women experience the sagging of their breasts. Gravity will start to pull down the breasts, and it is near impossible for the breasts to resist.

Since breasts are made up of connective tissue and ligaments, and they do not have muscles in them, they are easily stretched by the pull of gravity. You can do things that will either help or harm the situation.

Though sagging is inevitable, you can help in the reduction of aging and gravity effects. The genes you have are just one of the things that affect the ability of the breasts to maintain their perkiness. How you eat will also affect the position of your breasts on your chest. Whenever you take in healthy foods, you are going to be able to enjoy firmer skin that is more resistant to gravity's force.

If you engage in sporting activities, you may notice that your breasts sag quicker than women that do not involve themselves in such activities. The connective tissue and ligaments in the breasts can be stretched due to the extreme bouncing of the breasts. Wearing a sports bra that properly fits your breasts will be able to help you with this problem.

While you should use a proper bra to hold the breasts in place while you are taking part in activities, you should not do this all of the time. If there is no free time for your breasts, you may find that your ligaments shrink and experience atrophy because they are never being used. A gentle bounce during walking or other easy activities can help the breasts to keep the connective tissue and ligaments of the breasts in tact. This gentle bounce will allow for less sagging in your breasts.

Another natural process that causes the breasts to sag is called breast involution. When the milk making system shrinks due to non usage, this process of involution takes place. While the tissue shrinks, the skin will not shrink. Sagging will appear since the skin does not shrink. The body may deposit some of the fat back into the breasts, but it will not be enough to fill the void.

Losing weight is often a matter of health, but after weight loss, some women have noticed that their breasts begin to sag. After working so hard to get their body back into shape, these women could become discouraged because of their sagging breasts. The breasts will begin to sag because there were fat stores in the breast that were reduced, but the skin did not shrink.

Most of the time women will turn to a traditional breast lift. When using a traditional breast lift you will get results such as a rise in the breasts and regaining youthfulness. While the scars that you get from the surgery will begin to fade as time goes by, they will remain noticeable. If your traditional breast lift requires that you have a horizontal incision from your areola to the crease under your breasts, you will see the most scarring.

The scarless breast lift is now being offered since women want to avoid scarring as much as possible. While the scarless breast lift is not exactly scarless, the scars are smaller and expertly hidden, unlike with a traditional breast lift. All surgeries are going to have some scarring, but whenever using these techniques, the scars are going to be near invisible.

A scarless breast lift is almost always an endoscopic procedure. Incisions usually go through the armpit where a small surgical instrument will enter the breast. This instrument is used to loosen the breast tissue from the muscles of the chest. After doing this, a small portion of the breast tissue will be removed, and whatever is remaining will be connected.

The breasts will look perkier, and lifted after this procedure is finished. Since this procedure is less invasive than traditional breast lift surgery, many women are choosing this option. The fact that it allows for only a small amount of scarring and less recovery time are also popular reasons for choosing this procedure.

While anyone is more than welcome to get this procedure, it is recommended that people with smaller breasts that are not extremely saggy would use this procedure. If the breasts of the woman are too saggy, these women could get fewer results than they had desired.
